Green Woodworking  (Making rustic furniture)
Green woodworking, also known as "Bodging" is one of our passions. Working with fresh cut wood you will cleave (split) the timber with a shingle froe, shave it with a draw knife while sitting on a shaving horse, and join it by creating mortice and tenon joints - yes this is from the era before nails!
Depending on what you are making you may also turn a component on a treadle lathe. All tools and techniques emanating from the "pre-electric" era.
